Anti-corrosion treatment
Anti-corrosion treatment
With our anti-corrosion treatment, we grind oxidised areas down to sound metal, and then apply anti-corrosion paint based on epoxy resins and finishing varnishes, according to the manufacturers’ recommendations.
Treatment process:
- Inspection and preparation: We identify and carefully inspect the weld seam or the joints between sections, and extend the cleaning process up to the coating portion still intact.
- Deep cleaning: We use specialised tools to achieve optimal surface cleanliness and the right roughness, which is crucial for the adhesion of subsequent treatments.
- Residue removal: After removing the old paint, we remove any dust and dirt by spraying a no-rinse solvent.
- First coat of paint: We apply a first coat of epoxy-based paint, chosen for its excellent anti-corrosive properties.
- Second coat of paint: We then apply a second coat of the same product to ensure minimum thickness and optimum protection.
- Finish: We end the treatment with the application of a two-component paint
